Welcome to My Home on the Web

I haven't been building web pages for a while, because I was busy working jobs that didn't use computers or the Internet, and certainly not anything involved with the creation and design of web sites. While I was busy trying to make ends meet, my set of skills withered and became outdated.

So, I returned to school to pursue my interest in the design and creation of web pages and web sites. The last time I went to a technical college hoping to develop the skills necessary to do it, there was no program of courses established for it. My, have times changed. Now I am following my bliss, as you might say, and my bliss led me back to college for training.

Above is a navigation bar with handy links to other directories. If you want to visit them without losing track of this page, right-click the links and choose Open in New Tab or Open in New Window on the little shortcut menu.

What are these pages? The AngelFire and the Hobby Pages are slowly going to be updated. It's very time-consuming to search though the old pages to remove outdated code and replace it with new, spiffy code. They aren't vitally important to me right now, so it's a spare time deal.

What about these other pages? The cover letter, résumé, and contact pages are exactly what they say they are. Hopefully, one of you kind folk reading this now is going to say, "Hey, I'd like a web site for my family or business," and drop me a line so I can do it for you.

Why did you go through all of this trouble to make a web site like this one? Honestly, I need the work and the experience. What better way is there to show you what I can do than by actually doing it? I couldn't think of one, and that's why you're here now.

So, feel free to poke around. Just understand my old pages haven't been updated in about 5 years or so, and may be overly busy. Some of them I made for my daughter's enjoyment, like the Christmas page with the dancing animations and Christmas music. Some of them were works in progress that I didn't have the time to finish. Also, I haven't uploaded my school projects into an online portfolio here yet, but I am working on it.

Feel free to come back by or to drop me a line, and maybe I can make you a home on the wonderful World Wide Web, too.
